Best practice - ISObuster or SVCD2DVDMPG from BIN files

Witch is best to practice if you have your MPG files in BIN/CUE

to use ISOBuster to [Extract but FILTER only M2F2 Mpeg frames]
or to use the build in function in SVCD2DVDMPG to take the MPG direct from to BIN/CUE files

or is there not any difference ???

Always just worked from the Bin & Cue files and have had no trouble at all.
Never tried the other method, and cant really see the point of adding a extra process in when svcd2dvd will do it all for you.
