TMPGENC DVD Author audio sync problem

So I took an .avi file and converted it to mpeg-1. The audio was just fine there, so I put it thorugh TMPGENC DVD Author, and when it comes out, the audio gradually goes out of sync. Any way to solve this problem?

It is the wrong place to ask about tmpgenc author here.

is there a black part (a few frames) in the movie? if so there is where you're audio probebly runs out of sync.. just strip the audio and at a bit of silence there.
