I am tring to make a svcd burn onto a dvd-r, using the guide section on this site , with reference to the SVCD2DVDMPG+ .
I have followed all the steps carefully and have ended up with a folder containing 4 files,
movie1_DVD (MPA Media)
movie1_DVD (MPEG Video)
movie2_DVD (MPA Media)
movie2_DVD (MPEG Video)
Now i am presuming that this is correct and i have done it properely, but,
as i am a noob to all this stuff, what do i do next !!!!!
Plz help anyone i have practically all burning/ripping software available .
Any info greatly appreciated, thx.

ok..basically.. the steps the software takes are..
rip .mpg's from .bin/.cue's
split audio/video from .mpg's <--- this appears to be where you are.
resync audio to 48k (from 44.1)
merge new audio and video together (back to _dvd.mpg)
Author into vob's
what's the output in your log window ?

I have now managed to compile it to dvd and burn a copy which works perfectly on my pc using PowerDVD to watch it.
But....
When i play it on my stand-alone DVD player the first svcd-2-dvd-r movie plays fine but the second svcd-dvd-r plays jerky and the sound only comes on every 10 seconds or so for about 1 second then off again.
Using Sony dru-500a , ritek 2x media.
Any ideas whats wrong here?

Try on a friends dvd player.
I done one using Bulkpaq Gen 4 (lime/turquoise top) and it worked fine on mine and a few peeps dvd players...but didn't like it on a PS2... however I then used DVD ONE's and they worked fine on PS2... could just be the media...
check forums etc... to see if anyone else uses your DVD player and what media they use...
