Description:
This is a guide to assist you in easily backing up your DVDs to DVD-Rs using DVD2OneX.

THe newest version of this and all my guides can be found at http://homepage.mac.com/tgpo

Required Tools:

1. DVD2OneX -- For DVD Compression
2. DVDBackup 1.3 - For backing up the DVD to your hard drive
3. Roxio Toast Titanium -- For DVD Burning

Step 1: DVDBackup

*Before you run DVDBackup, you must first run Apple DVD Player and have it access the DVD. Then exit out of the program before you continue on.
1. Open DVDBackup 1.3 and drag your mounted DVD to the left window.
2. Next Simply click the Process Files button on the bottom right of the window. When the Save window comes up, make sure to select the create VIDEO_TS option.

Step 2: DVD2One

1. Next open DVD2One. Click the Select button next to the source box and find the VIDEO_TS folder you just created using DVDBackup.
2. Next comes where you make a decision. Do you want just the movie or everything on the disk to be included on your disk?
3. If you decide you only want the movie simply set the Copy Mode to Movie Only, then click the Audio and Subtitles button on the bottom left of the window and select the audio and subtitle tracks you want included
4. If you decide you would like all the extra features and menus included on your disk change the copy mode to Disk Copy and select the audio streams you would like included on your disk
5. Click Start

Step 3: Burning

1. The Easiest way to do this is to create a folder with the name of the dvd, make sure that it is in all capitol letters.
2. Next move your DVD2One created VIDEO_TS folder into this folder
3. Now create a new folder and rename it AUDIO_TS
4. Next Launch the Toast Titanium Program and select the DVD option under the other tab
5a. For Toast 5 select the DVD option under the other tab
5b. For Toast 6 select the Data Tab then Advanced then DVD-Rom(UDF)
6. If done properly Toast should have created a new DVD bearing the name of the main folder you had and containing the video and audio folders.
7. Now Burn and Enjoy.
