Hi,

I have a family video from an 8mm tape now on a dvd-r from an panasonic DMR E-30.

I have an Pioneer A05 to burn the resulting edit... if I'm ever able to do it!

The .ac3 (2ch, 48khz) soundtrack is giving me a lot of problem. I've demux the .vob, converted to an .mpa (and tried .mp3 and .wav). With ulead "dvd moviefactory 2", added the .m2v and replace the sound with separate sound file. Result: lost of synch between the video and the sound.

I've been researching the net for and easy solution, I can't find one. A few edit program seem to support the .ac3 natively, otherwise, it's demux and remux stuff.

My goal: take the mpeg2 from the dvd-r, do simple edit stuff (add title, a few cut and a few transition), recreate another dvd-r without recoding all the mpeg2 again.

Any suggestion?

TIA,

danylab
