I use showbiz to encode my avi's to mpeg2 and when I authur a dvd in studio 8 the sound is sped up and runs out halfway through. Showbiz puts out 16bit 48khz audio,but I cant find any info about what studio 8 needs. Is there a setting tab IM missing in studio8 that will fix it?

I see you created new post for this issue so keep this issue here.

So when you play your mpeg2 file in Windows Media Player it is OK ? The problem occurs only in S8 ?
