Many of you don't know this but I am TGPO's conjoined (Siamese) twin. Therefore, we were obviously born at the same time and so are both 19.
Guess where we are connected!

Melancholia Craig?
I'm 34 and I remember myself late 24 when I first visited this site...
Meanwhile, a new job, a new relationship, a new house... Nothing remained the same from back then!
Even the name here changed: It is not vcdhelp, it is videohelp!

57 here. A hardware hacker from way back.
First computer was a G.E. analog computer kit...1963-4 as I recall.
It worked like an electronic sliderule.
First video recorder was a Panasonic B/W 1/2" reel to reel. 1969 vintage.
Gadzooks how thingz have improved..

Just turned 40. Let's see... I was 33 when I first discovered this site. Doesn't seem like that long ago.

39, but not everyone counts in hex, or repaired keypunch machines, or learned programming on a 360/50.

My first acquaintance with computers was via a keypunch. Must be why I stayed away from computers for the next 6 or 7 years. That or the idiot with a PhD that was teaching my beginning Fortran class.
My first computer was an Apple ][ +. Vastly better to learn on than using a bloody keypunch, handing the cards to a student masquerading as a Computing God, then waiting for the CDC 3300 that was at another college to crash so I could take printout, stack o' cards, and very incomplete understanding of what the heck was going on, and then try to debug the program.
And God said let there be light
and indeed there would have been
but God used the wrong Control Cards.
Hate those things.
