Tracking Focus or Spindle error on spruce up???

I was trying to burn a dvdr from Spruce Up and got an error message:
Application error:(17785)(CDB:1b0000000300, Status: 040002, Sense: 040902) Tracking, focus or spindle servo failure.

What do I do??? Thanks

Well, I would only use Spruceup to generate a DVD title set... which it does quite nicely. Then I would use NERO (or what ever burning program that you desire) and burn the disk.

If you now get the same error, then your DVD recorder is kaput.
