Hey all, just setting up a new video recording station in a conference room of our office.
I already have the mics, amps, mixers setup to output to a single cable so the input is good.
For the PC, I'm using an HDMI capture card.
The area I'm lacking in is the camera. I can't confirm online that a consumer level camcorder (budget) will output both audio and video over HDMI without recording. I just want the camera to capture to audio/video and feed it out live via HDMI to my PC.
Not looking for supreme quality 1080p, 720p is all our equipment can display at this point.
I'm looking at the canon units now and they seem to be able to handle the mic input and hdmi output. Just unsure if they output live all the time or do they have to be recording to accomplish this.
Thanks for the help.
