  1. Hi,
I just purchased ritek dvd+r 4.7gb without logos.

    http://www.blank-cd-cdr.com/dvdr-med...--r-4-7gb.html

I noticed that if I burned over 4.3 gb I would always get an error( tried it 3 times)
    I was using Nero 5.5.9 and I have a sony dru120-a.

Nero would give a scsi writing errror when the dvd was 97% finsihed.

The dvd would play, but at the end would stall.

After failing 3 times, I tried using a Verbatim dvd I bought from Best Buy and I had no problem burning.

Has anybody had luck with these dvds?

    Thanks,
    Arthur

I just finished a 25-pack of Ritek DVD+R, and I'm about to buy another. I had zero problems, and the discs seem to have very good compatibility; I haven't found a player yet that's rejected them.

I'm using an HP 200i and Nero 5.5.9, all discs burned to full capacity.

  3. I have used over 150 of these with my HP 200i and maybe had 1 or 2 fail but I get them to burn to 4.4 gigs with Recordnow DX and 4.38gigs with nero

  4. Hi,

Did any of you guys have to upgrade your firmware in order to get your dvd writer to work with these dvds?

The help desk guys said I should upgrade my firmware.
Dont feel like doing this if I dont have to. I mean it works fine with other dvds.

    thanks,

Yes, I'd definately make sure you're using the newest firmware to comply to the discs
