    i learn that Linux operating system is now on sega dreamcast there is also a distribution see the link:

    now if someone with ability in programing software VCD and SVCD player for linux on dreamcast, it will be great for every one and sega dreamcast will be very interressant for us

    There currently is a VCD player for DC, but the name escapes me right now (Gypplay maybe?).

    From what I've heard, even VCD playback is choppy at best, so SVCD is probably out of the question.
