    Problem: When converting to MPGE from DIVX low bitrate I loose the color of the original and end up with a black and white version.

    File: Yugi Oh Manga
    Frame size: 318x238, 15,001fps
    Decompressor: DivX codec 4.11

    Using VirtualDub and TMPGEx

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Do you just loose the colour when played on your DVD player, or is it also black and white when played on your PC. If it is colour on the PC and black and white on the DVD then this is probrably an NTSC-PAL problem. ie you have encoded to pal but your hardware will only playback NTSC correctly, or vice versa.

    It is black and white on the PC. Even in the preview screen in TMPGec.
