    4. camcorder pass through

How big is the screen which you watch movies on at home:

    1. 21" or less
    2. 27" or less
    3. 32" or less
    4. 42" or less
    5. 50" or less

    6. more than 60"

Sorry about the English units...I don't know how they rate screen sizes in metric...Also, the gammar is bad but it's understandable

  10. How about a Poll on how hacked off you get when you give Forum users advice and they never respond to the advice given, not a 'Thank You' or 'No that didn't work' or 'Yeah great that did the trick' etc, etc.

I've noticed that since I've been using this forum and giving advice that there are many users who take no notice of the advice you give them, they give no response at all then go and start a new thread along similar lines of the topic you have just tried to help them with.

So you just think, 'Hey why do I waste my time giving you advice if you can't be bothered to take notice of the response you get'

What do you think, and if this it a bit out of line them I apologise, just having a small rant.

My Idea for a new poll would be:

How many times have you asked for assistance on a particular issue without 1st doing a search for it through all the guides here at Videohelp.com?

How cheap will DVD+R DL media have to become before you'll stop shrinking your backups (from dual layer to single layer)?

    1) 50-cents apiece or less
    2) $1 apiece or less
    3) $2 apiece or less
    4) $3 apiece or less
    5) I already don't shrink my backups
    6) let me buy a double layer burner first, then I'll decide

You can also specify, for example, that Verbatim double layer discs are the ones that will have to drop to that price.

by the time they drop to less than a $1 apiece, we will be "shrinking" HD-DVDs to fit on a DL DVD-Rs, and waiting for recordable HD-DVDR to drop down with price hehe

    4. for work

I think a "rate yourself" poll based on this would be fun!

(2.) Normal folks that want high quality, but without getting into overkill, and without filling their house with disc after disc after disc. You can put 2-4 hours if you have the right hardware/software, and if the source allows for it. It's about slight compromises that really don't affect quality perceptions. A 3-hour DVD in Half D1 will look good from most sources most of the time. This is an optimal setting for home users. Again, assuming hardware and software allows for it.

(3.) Compressors. These people suck. They destroy video by compressing the crap out of it, and toss out huge amounts of data to make their crappy little VCDs, KVCDs/KDVDs, XVID/DVIXs and other junk. These people should lose their video privileges. Morons.

    - All the things I wanted because I bought them for myself.

    Colorizing old movies:

    - Love it. I can't watch anything in just B&W.
    - Hate it. They're butchering the classics.
    - Colorizing, what's that?
    - Everything looks better in TGPO-vision.

How about a more serious one...

    What is Justice?

    1. That everybody get an equal share of everything.
    2. That everybody get what they need dpending on their needs?
    3. I'm a bystander and have no opinion.
    Thanx/

1 = socialism with possible hint of political correctness
    2 = 100% pure communism
3 = typical average brainless members of the society

    whats there to poll?
none has nothing to do with "justice"...
    BTW:
you'll get 70% for #3, ~20% for #1 and ~10% votes for #2, no need for such poll

Welcome to the majority, DereX888. You are aware of the no politics rule. This is a friendly warning.

oh yeah, i know its politics
as someone said: to buy a loaf of bread is politics...
its good to be among majority for once :P :P :P
    edit2:
i knew this poll wouldn't pass just for that reason, but i still found it ridiculus to ask questions with such obvious answers, i had to reply thats why i post reply here, far away from anyone's interest (except for those nosy mods like that guy who claims to be Offline :P )
