ERROR with ffmpegX 0.0.6e

I have ripped My cousin wedding DVD with OSEx. And I want to make a SVCD, I use the quick settings for SVCD PAL, but when it starts encoding it displays this error:


**ERROR: [mpeg2enc] Could not read YUV4MPEG2 header: system error (failed read/write)!


What am i doing wrong???

Do you have the apple quicktime mpeg-2 player component installed?

The apple quicktime mpeg-2 player component is commercial (US$19,99). Do I need it for encoding vob to SVCD?

Is it mpeg2enc?

I have installed the 3 components with the "ffmpegX engines installer"
mpeg2enc, mencoder and mplayer.

It is needed to implement the "qt decode" option that you had activated, and that's the reason you had an error. You can however still encode without this component, either:

-by using the "mplayer decode" option
-by disabling both "qt decode" and "mplayer decode" (this will lead to audio sync problems with NTSC material, but will be just fine with PAL)

I am using mplayer decode option, but it is very very slow (I think). I started this morning at 8:55 and now (20:22) it has still not finished. (For a 99 mins. long movie)

It shows:
V: 129.2 100232 97% 922% 0.0% 0 0 0%
What does mean each number?

Is the qt decode quicker than mplayer decode?
If I disable both options will take less time?
