Does anyone know of, or can settup, a mirror for this file? It was 'released' on a spanish geocities site, so it's quite dead at the moment.

It's referenced a few times in one of the guides. I tracked down the original source code, but not being a C/C++ programer, it would take me days to find all the libraries I needed to compile it.

VDUB that can open MPEG2 and VOB and AC3 audio would save all those extra steps. And of course it makes SVCD2DivX a snap :P

Maybe Baldrick would put this version in the tools section?

Baldrick's works! Thanks! Definate good one for tools section if it doesn't have any major bugs.

@fravel that's a dead link, it's really spanish geocities, so his bandwidth is gone for the next month (vcdhelp is popular!)

    Followup:

Pretty slick. Saves having to run a few extra steps, good for doing episodes too! Downside, multiple audio tracks prevent batch processing because you 'must' select an audio track(no auto select defaults I could see). I handled 5.1 sound just fine. Pay better attention when you rip it I suppose
