    ok here is how it goes. i got a symphonic dvd/ vcr combo for christmas from santa clause ::wink wink::. well its the biggest peice of worthless crap ever since its expensive and doesnt play vcds or svcds. i was wondering if there was a hack, work around or a mod out(hardware or software) that i dont know about. the dvd player is a Funai Symphonic WF802. its a dvd/vcr combo. any help would really be appreciated.

    ps for the record my preference is Apex, in fact santa owns an apex. i guess santa just didnt know that
