How to convert MiniDV files avi or some else files to DVD format
i want to backup my materials form MINIDV to DVD

Technically, the files are not MiniDV, that's just the tape format. Assuming you captured from yoru cam with firewire, you will end up with DV files, same thing with Digital8 DV cams. MOST Windows programs capture to DV AVI files. They are lower field first. Encode away with your favorite encoder with that in mind. Some programs allow you to capture, edit, author, compile, and burn all in the same applications (such as Pinnacle Studio 8.)
