:( Pioneer DV-444 doesn't play VCDs with still images

Hi.
My Pioneer DV-444 DVD-player doesn't play neither VCDs nor SVCDs created with VCDeasy which contain still images.
The screen stays dark and the display says ' PBC PLAY'.
The player plays WINONCD photoalbums, and VCDs created with NERO and other Tools. I can play them on my computer.

Any idea ??
