I burned a movie, and it works great. I was in the movie about 30 minutes, when the screen goes all green and stuff for about 2 seconds and goes back...... no biggie...... then I realize that the sound is about 1 or 2 seconds ahead of the video. Im guessing the video got stopped in that 1 second of the screen going green and the audio kept going. So then the audio was ahead of the video about a second. It goes on like this until the end of the CD...... Should I try reburning it or what?

Did you try watching the movie on your computer first, it sounds like it is the movie itself so reburning wouldn't change anything.
When I watch it on the computer, at that same spot, the screen DOES go green for a second... BUT the sound doesnt get ahead. So why does it go ahead on my VCD?Originally Posted by Fred0805
sounds like you have variable bit rate audio. many posts and guides here on how to fix it
variable bit rate audio? Could you be as kind as to give me a link or tell me a little more as of where to look for it?
Sounds like corrupt video frames if the sound syncs until that point, then is constantly out after, did this come from an avi? if so u can fix it with virtuldub before re-encoding to mpg by deleting the corrupt frames and resyncing the sound for the rest of the movie. Divfix will also scan for corrupt frames and tell u at which frame number the corrupt data starts
I don't understand how to scan for bad frames in virtual dub. I did it, and when it was finished it just sat there. Then what do I do?
