    I have tired to play +RWs in 3 different DVD players with no sucessus, i later read up and found out its a problem with bitrate? There are progs out to fix this, but they don't work with a few drives, any way to fix this problem?

    Check out this site,http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers, for compatibility of DVD players with different medias. I am having the same problem with burned with both + and - DVD RW's burned on the Sony DRU500A. Let me know how you make out.
    I am just learning, so be patient with me and some of the questions I might ask.

    munky2000r - Bitrate? or Bitsetting? If you go to the DVDAlliance website, they have info about the bitsetting problem.

    My player will play both +RW and -RW burned with my DRU500A.
