Hi @all,
what is the meaning of this message?
I have ripped a VHS-tape with my WinTV2000-program (Hauppauge PVR350), cutted it with TMPGenc into three parts as MPEG2-VBR (not as SVCD).
With every MPG-File of this movie i burned with vcdeasy (btw a very nice tool) i get this warning. When building the *.bin-file there appears the message: mpeg stream will be padded on the fly... and mpeg: some marker is not set.
If i remember right, with another VHS-Rip - cutted with TMPGenc as SVCD-MPG2-VBR - i had not got this message.
Are there any problems with any standalone-DVD-Players? My Cyberhome 320 plays correct! I have not tried it yet on my Yamakawa 788.

P.S. excuse my english

Thread: MPEG file requires autopadding

You get autopadding because the file is multiplexed incorrectly. If you're making SVCD, multiplex as SVCD. Improper multiplexing can cause playback problems, it depends on the player.
