    I have vob files from my dvds divided by chapter. I want to keep the video portion w/ out encoding. I'd like to compress the audio portion down as an mp3. I see how to do this in Flask, but there's no batch queue so I can throw a list at it and go to sleep. I just set it to uncompressed video and the mp3 codec. I have Gordian but it looks too complicated. Can someone tell me what menus I need to use in Gordian or recommend another program? Thanks.

    Oh boy,

    The only thing thats going to play back this file is a computer. If you insist on this approach, DVD2AVI V1.86, specifically was written/hacked to do this. You will see the MP3 option in the Audio tab. Think it uses LAME as the external encoder.
