Burning (S)VCD on DVD-R

Hello

i want to burn a svcd with 3 filmes a menu on one dvd-r.
i have selected my dvd-r writer, but i get always 537mb as space on disc displayed ??

what make i wrong or does ist not work with burning svcd on dvd-r

You cannot burn (S)VCD on to DVD-r. It cannot be done.

You CAN import VCD video, with audio resampled to 48Khz, into a DVD-video authoring app.

You can also persuade some authoring apps to accept SVCD video, again with audio at 48khz. It may or may not play correctly on your standalone. There is a guid on doing this here:
