Which programs allow you to do this? What I have in mind is a still which has about 2-3 minutes of music in the background. Which programs do you need for it, and how do you do this? Thanks in advance.

scratch this post... I don't think i'll get the help i need in this area of the forum...
If you still check here, you can use Videopack for that or Ulead Movie factory/Ulead DVD workshop. The later two have trials at Ulead web-page that can be downloaded.
most of the video editing software allows you to add stills and music.
VideoWave, Ulead Video Studio, Premiere; I have all three and they will all do it.--

hi i belive that magix "movies to cd and dvd" can do that
I think he meant using High Res stills and not going with an actual motion encoded low res clip just adding audio to the image...
I don't think the VCD standards allow that (or a hack hasn't come out for it, that I can yet find -- and the next thing would be compatibility)
So if VCD can not support hi-res stills with background music, can any other CD-based standard do? (SVCD ?) I would really like to do this, low-res images is not worth the background music
Both VCDs and SVCDs support this.
Author it as such: http://www.geocities.com/mikk999/StillsWithAudio.htm
However, this doesn't work on many players unfortunately.
