    Is there a tutorial somewhere describing the different types of noise that can oocur in a mpeg clip. Like what is block noise, pixel noise, etc.

    Is a good primer on the problems with DV and JPEG and MPEG compression. It also applies to MJPEG and DV to different extenst as well.
