  1. I am trying to make a backup of collateral damage like I have with so many other movies. I have used the same process with dvddecryptor and ifoedit and have never had a problem. All goes fine until I try to load the discs into either Gear DVD mastering or Nero. In gear it says :

    "Load error on file VTS.01_1.vob
File cannot be loaded at the required address[660] because the address is already occupied. First available load address is 661
    "

I get a similar error from Nero saying that all is not well. I choose to ignore it and it made an unreadable disc.

The two split files play fine on th HD with Power DVD but they wont let me record.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

What has worked for me. Rip with Smartripper in movie mode. Seperate the vob's into two directories. Rename each set from vts_01_1. Use Ifoedit to create ifo files for each directory, Burn each directory with Nero,be sure you use capitol letters for the VIDEO_TS directory for each burn.

  4. What IFOedit settings are you using to create the new IFO files? I'm having the same problem trying to copy "Deliverance". It's a very small DVD that doesn't even need to be split, but I'm getting the errors described.
