    how do I recognize the format of a movie I downloaded...

    Is suposed to be divx but I can't see it...

    You can use this free program also: http://www.geocities.com/cplarosa/movieid/

    You make an icon on the desktop. Then just drag an unknown file onto it & it tells you about the file.
