  1. After having burned my 1st xsvcd without used the header trick I was happy! It played on my Sony ns-305 (burned 2p-vbr 2600-3250-600 with highest quality and sound set to 192). Doing that I decided to burn another one with the following settings 2p-vbr 3250-5000-600 amd then it happened. The 1st 25 sec. it playes really wonderfull and then it slows down. Pressing paus or stop and play again it goes at the right speed and after a few sec. it slows again. I can repaet this as many times as i want and every time it starts good but this never lasts then a few sec. (5 - 20 sec.) This xsvcd also was not tricked with the header trick. Anyone who knows what is wrong??? On my pc with powerdvd it plays smooth.

At a guess I would say the bitrate is too high for your player. Not many players can hand CD media with this kind of bitrate. As you encded with VBR the first bit (Titles?) probably had a low enough bitrate for your player to handle, but once the real movie started it got too high. Try encoding with a lower bitrate.
