I got nothing, NO ASPI, no ASAPI, No SPTI

I can't access my dvd drive using any of these transport protocals.

It either says "no devices found" with ASPI or "device not ready" with ASPI.

Now it says that with SPTI and it won't find my Toshiba DVD-ROM with ASPI.

WTF is going on?

I have up to date layers.

Just a thought: if you're using WinXP, try running a util called forceASPI.
