more problems with ffmegx - please help !

i have been trying to convert a dolby digital trailer in vob format to mpeg1 in order to use it as an intro on a vcd.
after defining the source file and output file i selected the "quicksettings for vob --> vcd mpeg1" and hit the encode button.

i got the following error messages in the terminal:

i've tried it several times with different vob files, different directories and output filenames.
i always get the same error messages.

can anybody help me with this ? many thanks

Try using folder names (in your path) that do not contain spaces.

i have tried it with folder names that dont consist of spaces - but i am still getting the same error message:

**ERROR: could not stat() file `/Users/marcbaie/Desktop/test-2.mpg': No such file or directory


i named the output file "test.mpg" - i have no idea why it's trying to create a file called test-2.mpg.

any help ?
