  1. What program will allow me to modify the starting time from a .ssa script which will automatically fix the rest of the .ssa script timing? I tryed the SSA prog but it's too confusing, please help me.

    It's not that hard in SSA. Open your .ssa file, hilight the first subtitle, and select "Shift Times..." from the "Timing" menu. Fill in the dialog box (most of the defaults are probably right) and save your fixed .ssa file back to disk.
