DVD/VCR Combo that plays what I want- Help!

I am looking for a good DVD/VCR Combo that will also play vcd/svcd/Mp3 and progressive scan (basically something that has good compatablity of everything). I do a search in the Dvd Player and it only comes up with two and I doubt they play progressive scan:

Panasonic NV-VHD1
Samsung SV DVD1E

I've tried to research on these players and it seems as though they are not in the US (I could not locate any of these player in several stores in the US. Searching them on the web keeps pulling up foreign web pages).

Can anyone help tell me what DVD/VCR Combo is the best?

Well, yeah. I know there are a lot of DVD/VCR combos out there, but none of those had progressive scan. Only the Panasonic PV-D4762 from your amazon link had progressive scan and the rest didnt.

Are there any DVD/VCR combos that can play in progressive scan AND read VCD/SVCD/Mp3 ??
