is this suppose to be a poll??
id have to vote NO.
menu is where you select what to play.
subtitles are the words on the bottom of the screen.
Not meant to be.. Do people use the terms interchangably?
Im sure some people do , but those people are just misunderstanding what is what and need to open a dictionary
Subtitles are used in a movie as a translation tool. The words that appear at the bottom of the screen. Usually it is is a "foreign" film. That is, foreign to you. Like if you speak French and the movie is in English, you need French Subtitles so you understand what thy are saying.
http://www.vcdhelp.com/edit.htm#subs for some guides on adding subtitles to your VCD.
Menus are used to select which scene you want to jump to and stuff like that. Like when you put a DVD into your player, you have the menu to choose whether you want to watch the movie, or see the special out takes, or behind the scenes....Usually driven by a number.
crap like that.
Use NERO to add a menu.
Totally different.Feel free to instant message me...
Yeah, now I get it. I really don't need a "subtitle" then. I've done a few menu's in Nero. How about when you hit the "next" button and it skips forward (or back) 15 or 20 minutes. What's that called?
chapters
awesome, thanks....
I personally think NERO is pain in the buttox with chapters. I always use VCDeasy.
Its fricking EASY!
Haven't done a menu, thogu I use splash screens like nobody's business. I recommend VCDEasy.Feel free to instant message me...
