  1. Hi:

I am editing with Video Studio 6. I am trying to include still images (jpeg, bmp.) in my video but i want them to have transparent background. I know it has something to do with some alpha channel.

Can someone tell me how do I create an image with transparent background that I can use in VS6 overlay?

I am using Photopaint to create the images, however, the white (or whatever color) background of it just cover my video. I just want the image and not the background in my video.

    Can you help me? please!

What I do is use Paint Shop Pro 7 to create my image against a transparent background, then save as a 32-bit PNG file and this lets you take advantage of alpha channel transparency.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. Hi:

Yes, that is what I want to know, how to create my image against a transparent background. How????

The 32 bit is RBG or CMYK?
