I just bought this kickass player but it has one major flaw!
This is the 7 Disc changer.
Whenever you play a DVD the current tray disc LED is flashing orange constantly ! very annoying, I dont want to return this unit because of these buy I might have too
Is there some hack/firmware/code I can punch to disable the damn flashing light?
Couldnt teh designer make the current disc turn solid green or something insead of flashing.. Flashing to me indicates from commone sense, a error has occur or the disc is still loading..
Anyone got some ideas? I dont want to open the unit up and pysically detach the LED's ..
Thanks,
GreenX

I hope you find a solution. I just bought it today as well, and that was one of the first things I searched the menus/manual for.Whenever you play a DVD the current tray disc LED is flashing orange constantly ! very annoying
Everything else seems great (plays my DVD+R/+RW's with no problems)...
Beening looking all day, no answer anywhere.. Ill have to call JVC I guess...
Is there any other player with the specs like this one? Im thinking of jsut returning it now..
Called JVC, they said ist the way it was designed, no way to disable it..
Errr... I think I will buy the Yamaha C920, too bad it doesn't play SVCD
Anyone know if DVD-R's are OK?
