    I downloaded a avi from usenet (red dwarf anniversary special) anyays the avi is upside down. How the hell can I fix this so I can convert it to mpeg? Thanks!

    You can use VirtualDub to do this. Open the AVI file in Virtual Dub. From the Video menu, select Filters and Add, select Rotate, click OK, Select Around 180, click OK, OK, again, then File, Save as AVI and the processing will begin. When the processing completes the file is inverted.
