Slideshow....how to?

When I try to make a slideshow from my photos(bmps, or jpgs), I keep getting the same message: "Characters not allowed in". Will VCDEasy program convert bmps or jpgs to VCD format? Thanks

If you have Nero, use it to make a slide show. Select the VCD template, and drag any picture(s) over to the VCD folder. The images will be converted right before burning.

I dont know why, but when I used nero to do this, the image quality was horrible, maybe they've changed this since I've used it. But I use Ulead DVD Picture show for making slide shows. If they've changed this in nero, the only advantage in DVD Picture show would be its a more powerful authoring program(background music, menus, picture narration)

I have had no problems with the picture quality in Nero.
