DVD2SVCD using files from hard drive

I used smartripper to get the movie on the computer because i wanted to test some things w/ the movie. Now that I just want to create a SVCD DVD2SVCD loads the VOB files fine but I click on Go to start the process and it says Rip and Convert or Rip Only... I already ripped the files!! I don't get this at all... When i hit Rip and Convert it just makes the VOB files again. It's not so bad it's just another 10-20 min longer to rip something that has already been ripped!

make sure you UNCHECK "activate DVD ripping" in the dvd rip tab. this area should be all greyed out. in the conversion tab,press the file tab(to the left of the cd tab) load 'em up and then proceed as normal

The author of DVD2SVCD recommends that you use the internal routines for ripping as you might have audio sync problems later in the encoding.
