    Aloha! created a vcd and plays in Phillips 751 DVD player, but plays then halts, plays then halts...almost like every other frame or something. Why is that? Speed thing? Please advise.

    I encountered two causes for this, bitrate too high or the capture softare created an incompatible format even though all settings are exactly as VCD requires. Running the file through the MPEG Tools in Tempgnc allways worked for me.
