    All my video files (even ASF and WMV) go too fast in WMP 7.1 and 6.4. I re installed Windows 98 already but its still happening. My modem doesn't work so I can't download any new codecs. What's the matter?

    FWIW, I didn't see that problem until I installed Divx 5.

    What brand of what? Sony and HP/Compaq? What is this question about? Is it on hardware, such as the CD-ROM or the DVD-ROM?

    My WMP works fine, whether as 7.1 or 6.4. Version doesn't matter.

    WMP7.1 sucks..ie freezes / crashes randomly on both my pcs. WMP6.4 works just fine.
