    What would cause a SVCD to play normal then fast then back to normal at times during a playback. Using a daewoo 5000n recorded at 29.97 (the orginal file was set at 23.96) at 480x480.

    the media is not the problem. I am using a bitrate of 2100. (very high). the problem occurs at times and does not repeat in the same part when you play it again. It seems like the daewoo is getting confused based on the info in the file.

    Is it the frame rate?....the original file was recorded at 23.96 but TMPG is fixed at 29.96

    Or is it the Daewoo...
