  1. I burned a VCD with Nero, I used Fuji disc (which are one of the best for musci CDs). My DVD player read the CDR for about 1 minute, then it said "this type of disc doesnt work.." or something like that. Anybody knwo what it could be?

    Thanks!

What's the model of your Panasonic? I had (still have) an A120 that plays DVD's and VCD's (commercially made ones) just fine, but it will NOT read CD-R media AT ALL... even music ones.

You need to get the models with dual laser to read both DVD and CD-R medias... I recently bought the RV31K model for $164 from Amazon.com and am very happy with it... (it was $179 - $15 Coupon and free S/H)...

Go to http://www.dealhunting.com for current coupons for Amazon.com and other online retailers.

It seems that your player doesn't read CDR. Try using CDRW. I suggest you to use Mr. Write 4X CDRW.

  5. hey phuocle,

I am thinking of getting the RV31. Is there anything you have tried that it cannot play? I have heard good things abou it.

I am buying it mostly for DVD, MP3, and hopefully DVD-R. I have a few VCDS also, and I am sure they will work.

I know from experience that most of the early Panasonics (A100/110/120/300) will not play CDR/RWs
