Ok I'm running windows XP and trying to install an ATI TV WONDER card.
I'm trying out this tutorial:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/ATI_AIW_Guide.htm
and since I'm on XP most of the steps I can skip because XP already comes with the 8.1directX update and so forth...
so do I sttill have to go into regedit and delete those keys if using XP?
thanks in advance.
If this works out I'll write an update for installing with XP.

ok I think I proper fucked this up now after I deleted the stuff mentioned in the tutorial.
I get an error msg when starting Windows now:
"atiSServ failed to provide required Interfaces!"
and MMC won't uninstall. I tried repairing it but it won't work. Tried re-installing the drivers, no go. and MMC doesn't work at all now.
most challenging piece of hardware I've EVER encountered...
You must install the drivers before installing card.Make sure you download latest drivers from:
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
