    Is there anybody out there who knows how
    to play an svcd on the new quicktime.
    Is it possible?

    Its a public release. Its not official yet. Wait till they come out with quicktime 6 pro before asking how it is.

    It doesn't work in the preview release and they don't mention anything about mpeg2(svcd) playback. But they may add it in the final release...but I don't think so. And remember that mpeg2 playback don't mean true svcd support...you may play svcds but with strange aspect ratios...
