    ...export a copy to the internet? I need it in a format that imovie can use to export to internet....

    Couldn't you just treat it as a normal DVD? Thus using the how-to guides rip and encode normally.

    BTW, if you want to be able to import the file into iMovie then it must be encoded as DV. A movie length of DV video is going to be quite large. Hope you have a big hard drive.
