Attack of the Clones on the net?

Hi.

I just read on the IMDB today that working copies of Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones have already hit the net. My question is has anybody found one the works yet?

I just finished downloading an SMR AotC file, and all it is is 46 minutes of blank video. I made sure I downloaded the SMR codec, too. Is there anything that I could use to get it to work?

It's possible someone leaked it from a pre-screening of from the film reels (which have already been sent to theators)

www.vcdquality.com , it has comments about the release as well as screenshots of the movie so you can see what quality. It was taken from some one with a camera in a cinema. The picture quality is pretty shitty, sound is meant to be good. There are two version which work of it going around but i have seen millions of fake crap floating around also so beware.

the version I have is the FTF version, and yup picture quality really sucks, I can only hope there be a better version of it.

Man dont waste your time, the quality is pisspoor...there are some movies that are just meant to be seen in the theater. This is one of them.

i have to agree with kdiddy there.. even though i hate star wars.. it should be seen in a theater.. i mean, have you read about the camera he used to film this movie? and how much the actual film he used cost? the massive amount of special effects? this is one of the movies you should watch in a theater.. the only point of picking this movie up right now is to be one step ahead of the game.. but if you really love star wars, you will go see it in the theater.. you wont allow the net version be your only viewing..

Considering how iron-fisted Lucas is able to control info regarding his new SW pics, one has to suspect that this was an intentional Lucas leak to build up hype for his new picture.

Also, when you consider how much he was criticized for producing such shoddy storyline and dumbed down plot in the later half of ROTJ and the entirety of TPM, it makes you think how low would he go to try to build up more hype for AOTC.

I for one won't bother watching AOTC in the theaters nor waste time downloading his soulless over-hyped eyecandy. But you younin's and you SW fans may suit your choice and blindly march your mind off the cliff again.

do you really believe that? He'll make alot of money no matter what critics or you say, bad story plot or bad ( jar jar binks ) characters. The Star Wars franchise is like the Star Trek franchise, with a huge built in fanbase, and proof is in people who are willing to download a crappy version just to be the first to see it. So we that are going to march off the ciff are doing so to see Lucas' iron fisted vision play out. You can be dour and complain for your dislike of the SW franchise, Lucas will not care one bit. He's made his millions.

I thought the new Star Wars movie came out last December, you remember, it was called The Fellowship of The Ring? I mean, it had to be Star Wars. It looked like Star Wars, it sounded like Star Wars, the only thing missing was Obi-Wan, unless that's who that one guy with the white beard was.....
