i need help please, can i add subtitles to mpeg/vcd i encoded, what tools should i use, i searched every where without any success, thanx in advance

Yes, you can add Subtitles, but i'd recommand you to do it from the start and not add ontop of a file, cause you'd need re-encoding.
Try checking the Complete (All-In-One) Guide v2.0 in the DVD RIP section, it shows how to add Subtitles in all sorts of ways.Email me for faster replies!

Tools you can use
VirtualDub, framserver to TMPGEnc
Vobsub filters or Donald Graft ssa sub filter
You can get the ssa filter at http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft/
Get the latest Nimo all-in-one codec, it has Vobsub filters for Virtual dub
If your subtitles are not in ssa or sub format you will need to source for a convertor (good luck if they are in SAMI format, I ve had lots of trouble converting them).
