Dreamcast VS Playstation

I was just wondering which is better for playing VCD's. The software Dreamcast VCD PLayers or the hardware Playstation VCD players. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

well i have a dc and the vcd player i got with it was topnotch crap the play was blocky ,ugly n ugly

i had the xing hoo or something vcd player.... oh and i couldnt reqind or fast forward
and it didnt read alot of my vcds


I never tried the psx vcd adapter.....personally if its in your budget
id suggest buying a standalone dvd player

my pioneer dv-343 is topnotch for vcds it can play anything and everything has support for xvcd and xsvcd etc etc
and plays dvds great........... if ya look around ya can still fidn this one and not expensive at all , somewhere last year i bought mine for 200$
