poor video quality in potplayer

does anyone know why there is such a bad quality in potlayer and how to improve it?

the colors are not sharp, they are blured and they have different tone from what other videoplayers

The default configuration of most players should be fairly identical. At least it was the last time that I was testing multiple players (before going back to MPC-HC). If you've been in the config making changes, there are countless ways that things could be quite different.

And why is this question in the streaming board? should likely be in the software player board (along with the countless other PotPlayer questions). Based strictly on the number of questions regarding this player, I wonder why anyone even uses it.
