    Hi,
    I'm having trouble determining which of these 2 sensors is bigger and therefore has the better low light performance.
    1) 1/2.3" BSI MOS (PANASONIC HC-VX870EB-K 4k Ultra HD Camcorder)
    2) 0.24", 6.10 mm (Panasonic HDC-SD60)

    Low light performance isn't simply a matter of sensor size. It's a combination of sensor, lens aperture,exposure speed, and gain.

    You can download the manuals to both cameras and it will give you a lux number -- but that's fairly opaque. Your best bet is to look for clips online shot with the cameras you're looking at in similar lighting conditions.
